STEPHEN M. BRANDENBURG, Partner, concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation matters including construction, insurance coverage, product liability and other commercial disputes. Mr. Brandenburg has participated in all phases of trial litigation. Mr. Brandenburg regularly practices in state and federal courts in Illinois and Indiana. Mr. Brandenburg has also successfully litigated cases at the appellate court level and has previously argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Brandenburg has been named a SuperLawyers - Rising Star for the past five years.
Before joining Cameli & Hoag, PC, Mr. Brandenburg practiced with one of Chicago’s largest litigation firms. Mr. Brandenburg was also a law clerk for Judge Lee Preston, former supervising judge of the Commercial Calendar in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Mr. Brandenburg graduated with a B.A. from Indiana University - Indianapolis in 2004 where he studied Economics and Political Science. He went on to Indiana University Mauer School of Law - Bloomington, where he graduated cum laude in 2007. During law school, Mr. Brandenburg was the CALI award winner for Banking Law, Tax Policy, and Securities Litigation.
Mr. Brandenburg currently works out of the firm’s Chicago, Illinois and Hammond, Indiana offices.
