Alan J. Brinkmeier, Attorney, concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation matters, including construction, product liability, transportation and other commercial disputes. Mr. Brinkmeier has participated in all phases of trial litigation and has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts throughout the Midwest. Mr. Brinkmeier has also successfully litigated cases at the appellate court level in each of the Illinois appellate districts and has previously argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Brinkmeier has been named a Super Lawyers since 2005, and a Leading Lawyer® since 2006. He holds an AV Martindale Hubbell Peer Review rating recognized for strong legal ability and high ethical standards.
Before joining Cameli & Hoag, P.C., Mr. Brinkmeier practiced in his own firm with a concentration in aviation law, municipal liability and product liability defense. Mr. Brinkmeier was also a commissioner for the City of Elmhurst Planning & Zoning Commission for 17 years and a 21 year Trustee on the Board of Trustees for Elmhurst College.
Mr. Brinkmeier graduated with a liberal arts degree from Elmhurst College, with high honors. He went on to DePaul University College of Law where he graduated with honors.
Mr. Brinkmeier enjoys a strong reputation in the area of product liability, and he has handled many other types of catastrophic injury cases.
Mr. Brinkmeier currently resides in the west suburbs of Chicago. He is married to Gail Brinkmeier. They have two daughters – Alex and Perri.
