Mary B. Marcin concentrates her practice on a wide range of complex civil defense litigation matters, including personal injury, construction and construction defect, commercial litigation, product liability, premises liability, transportation, and data privacy.
Ms. Marcin utilizes her extensive experience working with her clients for efficient case resolution in both state and federal courts and has successfully defended and resolved numerous cases prior to trial through motions for summary judgment and other dispositive motions.
Ms. Marcin is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. She served on the Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women’s Executive Committee, and previously served as the Chair and Vice Chair of the Civil Practice Committee and in the Investigative Division of the Judicial Evaluation Committee. She also serves as an arbitrator for the Cook County Law Division Mandatory Arbitration Commercial Calendar and Personal Injury Calendar, and the Civil Division Mandatory Arbitration Program. Ms. Marcin taught as an Adjunct Professor at the graduate and undergraduate levels in Lewis University’s Criminal/Social Justice and Public Administration program.
