THOMAS F. CAMELI is one of the founding partners of the firm. He has over 30 years of litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, construction defect, product liability, fire and casualty loss, premises liability, slip and fall, municipality litigation, and more. His clients include, among others, construction companies, trucking companies, manufacturers, local governments, and public utilities.
Mr. Cameli has extensive trial experience having tried over 65 cases to verdict. He primarily practices through Illinois and has successfully handled cases in every Federal District Court in Illinois as well as the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also successfully defended clients in Indiana, California, Texas, Wisconsin, and Montana.
Mr. Cameli was born in the south suburbs of Chicago and has lived in the Chicagoland area his entire life. He obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois in 1985. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science, with highest honors, in 1982 and passed his certified public accountancy examination that same year. He has also been nominated and named a Top Rated Personal Injury Attorney, Illinois Super Lawyer for 2016 and 2017, and he received the Jury Verdict Reporter Trial Lawyer Excellence award in 2019. He is married to Patricia Cameli who works for Argonne National Laboratories in the Advanced Photon Division. They have three daughters Alyssa, Jacquelyn, and Rachele.
